Hair Loss Treatment - General Advice
When you are using any hair loss treatment you should always do the following.
- Remain positive that you will see an improvement by following your hair loss treatment through to the end of the recommended dosage.
- Make sure your overall health is as good as possible. This means reducing stress levels by reducing stressful situations (I realize that this is easier said than done!). Eating well - lots of vegetables and fruit so that your vitamin levels are high. And, finally, lots, but not too much, exercise.
- Be realistic of the results you can achieve, i.e. other than actual hair replacement no one honest can guarantee a full bushy head of hair and an end to hair loss forever. However, large improvements can be made, and in some hair loss products especially those recommended by the FDA the science is the proof.
- Don't overlap hair loss treatments. Although it is tempting to use every hair loss treatment you can get your hands on, overdoing things may not be in your best interests. Do your best to be patient, although I appreciate how very hard this can be.
- Keep your eyes open to any changes in your body that do not seem to be normal. For example, increases in your heart rate, headaches or any other unusual pains. Some hair loss treatments are not your friends. Immediately stop taking anything that you get a funny feeling about and go to your doctor. He/she should of course be consulted about any medication that you want to take - that's their job.
